Home Phone Service Out in Munhall

MUNHALL, Pa. -- A phone service outage in Munhall will last until at least the weekend.

Munhall emergency workers said they have been told by Verizon that phone service won't be restored until Saturday.

The outage happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The borough's emergency management agency said the outage is affecting homes in Munhall and possibly surrounding areas.

If anyone has an emergency, but not a cell phone, they are asked to use a neighbor's cell phone.
